October 15 -- A Walk for Shaniel

A “Walk for Shaniel” will be held this Saturday to celebrate her life! Shaniel was a loving mother, cherished daughter and sister, and loved by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Come and join us on the east side of the Price River Trail, at 10:00 a.m., to share memories, walk the trail, and participate in a balloon release. A special tribute will be given by her family.

T-shirts and bracelets will be available for purchase. Donations accepted and all proceeds will go to the local Women’s Shelter.

A Walk for Shaniel was a huge success today!!! Thank you all for coming out and supporting us. It was wonderful to see all of the support for Shaniel and our family. Thank you so much to all of you that made it to the walk. There were many that drove far to be there. Thank you to all that couldn't make it but still showed your support. And thank you to the community for supporting this cause. Most importantly thank you to Amie Oliver Sorensen for organizing this event, she did a great job! It was a beautiful day and a wonderful event!

Last Saturday our family was able to take part in a Hike for Heidy at the City Creek Park by the State Capitol. In honor of Heidy Wagner who's life was taken last October by her husband. The hike was to raise awareness for Domestic Violence. It was a beautiful day with a great turnout. Lets join together to get the word out about Domestic Violence so that no more women have to suffer or loose their lives! Thank you Janet Wagner and family for inviting us and letting us participate in the walk. Carol Daniels and Janet Wagner holding pictures of their beautiful girls.
